NHL Trade Rumors: Jason Pominville on the Chopping Block

The Buffalo Sabres are looking to move Jason Pominville before the 2013 NHL Trade Deadline. The Sabres had a terrible year, sitting at 13th in the Eastern Conference. GM Regier is retooling his team and recently traded defenseman Robyn Regehr to the LA Kings for two second round draft picks.

Pominville scored 23 points in 36 games this season. The 30 year old comes with a cap hit of $5.3 million for one more season. The Sabres recently approached Pominville and asked him to create a list of 8 teams that he'd like to join.
