Chris Stewart of the St. Louis Blues is on the chopping block and likely to be moved before the 2014 NHL trade deadline. Stewart, who is 26 years old, scored 26 points in 57 games played this season. The right winger is signed to a cap hit of $4.15 million for one more season. He is a power forward with size and toughness who can score goals.

There are reports that the Rangers and the Senators are in a bidding war over Stewart. According to the Ottawa Sun, "It's believed the Senators have had serious talks with St. Louis GM Doug Armstrong about a potential deal." The New York Rangers are offering Ryan Callahan and the Ottawa Senators are offering Milan Michalek in return for Chris Stewart.
