Mike Cammalleri of the Calgary Flames is on the chopping block to be moved before the March 5 NHL trade deadline. The 31 year old left winger demanded a trade from the Flames. GM Brian Burke said he is going to wait until after the Olympic trade freeze to make any major moves. Cammalleri, who has a no-trade clause, submitted his list of teams that he is not willing to move to.

In Cammalleri's best seasons, he scored 39 and 34 goals, however he is on the decline. Currently, he has 13 goals in 41 games played and is on pace for a 20 goal season. He is in the last year of his annual $6 million cap hit contract and is going to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

The San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Ducks, Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils are interested in acquiring Cammalleri. The Devils are the front runners because they are looking for a first line left winger and have over $9.6 million in cap space. Look for the Devils to trade a 2nd round draft pick and a prospect for Mike Cammalleri.
