Reasoning: The Winnipeg Jets select Kapanen who is capable of playing in all situations. He has skill and overall hockey acumen. Kasperi is the son of former NHL player, Sami Kapanen.
10) Nikolaj Ehlers
Ht: 5'11" Wt: 165 lbs
Position: LW
Team: Halifax (QMJHL)
Reasoning: The Anaheim Ducks select Ehlers who is a great playmaker and goal scorer. He had an excellent playoffs in junior. The Ducks acquired this pick as one of the main pieces from the Ottawa Senators in the Bobby Ryan trade.
11) Brendan Perlini
Ht: 6' 3" Wt: 205 lbs
Position: LW
Team: Niagara (OHL)
Reasoning: The Nashville Predators select Perlini who is fast, big and can score goals. The Predators are looking for a power forward winger who can make an impact offensively.
12) Haydn Fleury
Ht: 6' 2" Wt: 204 lbs
Position: D
