NHL Trade Rumors: Evgeni Malkin to Florida Panthers

Trade rumors surround the Pittsburgh Penguins and their forwards, who are having a stellar postseason. With the emergence of the HBK line (Hagelin, Bonino, Kessel) as well as playoff hero Bryan Rust, it's believed the Penguins may move a star player in the offseason.

Nick Kypreos said on Hockey Central that he believes this is Evgeni Malkin's last playoff series with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He said there's never been a better time to move him, and it makes no sense to keep him and Sidney Crosby on the same team.

The Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks, and Florida Panthers are possible trade destinations. The Florida Panthers have a plethora of young talent they can offer for Malkin including Nick Bjugstad, Jonathan Huberdeau, Vincent Trocheck, Dmitry Kulikov, and Michael Matheson.
