Video: Nazem Kadri crushes Brian Gionta

Brian Gionta is a veteran of the NHL, but even he can get caught with his head down. During Saturday's game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres, Gionta was crushed by Nazem Kadri.



Gionta picks up the puck along the boards, looking down for a second. Kadri strikes when Gionta looks down. Sabres Marcus Foligno chases down Kadri. No penalty was assessed for the Kadri hit, and Foligno was assessed a minor. Gionta was okay after the hit.
