NHL Rumors: St. Louis Blues Trading Jordan Kyrou in Blockbuster Deal?
The St. Louis Blues could be changing the core of their team this summer, as trade talks surrounding Jordan Kyrou have ramped up in a major way at the NHL Draft.
Kyrou, 27, is signed through the 2030-31 season at $8.1 million, and has been linked to trade rumors for a few weeks now. David Pagnotta of the Fourth Period sees the Montreal Canadiens as a team that's checked in on Kyrou, as they look to upgrade their forwards.

A few other potential destinations include the Anaheim Ducks, Carolina Hurricanes, and Columbus Blue Jackets, as the Jackets have been busy of late trying to upgrade their forward group, recently landing Charlie Coyle and Miles Wood from the Colorado Avalanche.

And he's done it in all of them. Don't trade him. pic.twitter.com/Bx4CgsBafj
I don’t get the sense the #stlblues are shopping Jordan Kyrou. Could he get moved in the right deal for the right player coming back? Sure, but are they actively trying to trade him? I don’t believe that’s the case. Kyrou’s camp does not believe he’s on his way out. Loooong…

Kyrou scored 36 goals and 70 points, playing in all 82 games last season. He's only missed three games in the last three years, and continues to be leading the charge offensively for the Blues. If Kyrou ends up sticking around St. Louis, look for the team to be in trade talks on one of their goaltenders, and potentially trying to move one of their expensive defencemen, including either Justin Faulk or Colton Parayko.
