Video: Projected 1st Overall Pick Turns Defender Inside Out

After a solid World Junior Championship, Rasmus Dahlin is back at it again, showing us why scouts around the NHL have him as the uncontested 2018 NHL 1st overall draft pick .

In a recent game from the Swedish Hockey League, Frölunda HC defensemen Rasmus Dahlin absolutely twists up the opposing defender.

We have seen fantastic ankle breakers from hockey stars before when moving forward at high speeds, but spinning your opponent around when you are nearly stopped yourself is something I don't recall seeing before.

Check out this fancy bit of stick work for yourself.

If you also can't get enough of this kid, check out his 2016/2017 season highlight pack below.

My favourite clip thus far though, came from the recent WJHC where Dahlin again shows off his skating and incredible stick work.

Its hard to believe this kid is still only 17 years old.

The NHL has a lot to look forward to in this guy.

I Love This Game!
