Blackhawks Legend Stan Mikita Passes Away At Age 78

Today, the hockey world mourns the death of a hockey legend, and an icon of the Chicago Blackhawks, Stan Mikita.

Mikita passed away today at age 78. The former Blackhawk played his entire 22-year career (1958-1980) with Chicago, and was a 4-time Art Ross trophy winner. He also won the Hart and Lady Byng trophies twice.

His #21 was retired, and he is one of the icons of the Blackhawks organization.
