Crosby fires back after backing down from Ovechkin

After backing down from Ovechkin challenging him to fight, Crosby has fired back and also explained why he didn't accept the fight offer.

As we all know by now, Tom Wilson got the Washington - Pittsburgh rivalry back up and running again like it used to after he KO'ed Penguins' Jamie Oleksiak. Things got heated between the teams and Crosby and Ovechkin started yelling at each other at their respective benches. Ovechkin then proceeded to challenge Crosby to a fight, to which Crosby declined.
I'm trying to find out why it wasn't an instigator. He started yelling at me for some reason. My conversation was with the official, not with him, so I don't know why he felt the need to come over, Crosby stated after being asked about his interaction with the Capitals' captain.
Crosby then proceeded to explain why he didn't stand up to Ovechkin by saying that he was there to play hockey, not to chat with him [Ovechkin]. But with at the end of the day, Crosby exited the ice winning the game and also snapping Ovechkin's career high 14 game point streak.
