Report: multiple contending teams contact Philadelphia regarding Wayne Simmonds

According to Elliotte Friedman, multiple teams have given Philadelphia a call regarding their pending unrestricted free agent, Wayne Simmonds.

During Hockey Night in Canada's Headline segment, Elliotte Friedman stated that teams have contacted Philadelphia GM Chuck Fletcher regarding Wayne Simmonds, but Fletcher wants to wait until the last minute to make a move.
I think you're going to see some teams start pushing for him, Friedman stated. San Jose, Calgary and Winnipeg - if Philadelphia feels (a) it wants to make the deal, and (b) is sufficiently out of the playoffs, to do it too.
All three teams are in the Western Conference and are very close to say the least, as Calgary currently sits at the top of the conference with 83 points, followed closely by San Jose with 80, and with Winnipeg not far behind with 78.

Right now, Simmonds is in the last year of his contract, and has been either above or within an inch of the 30-goal plateau in most of his campaigns. Do you see either team acquiring Simmonds or will Fletcher try to sign him in the offseason?
