Could Steve Yzerman be headed to Edmonton next season?

Steve Yzerman is still heavily involved with the Tampa Bay Lightning front office, however, his contract is set to expire at the end of this season. Tampa GM Julien BriseBois told Nick Cotsonika of NHL.com that Yzerman is prepared to weigh his options:
I talked to him mid-year to see where his head was at, he said he wanted to give it some thought, and we'd revisit after the season.
It's no secret, Edmonton Oilers owner Daryl Katz is ready and willing to throw the cheque book down to bring Yzerman on board. However, with the question marks surrounding the Oilers and the talented roster in Tampa, it would be a bold decision by Yzerman to leave. Not to mention it's hard to compare the weather reports from both cities. Another possible destination for Stevie Y is heading back to Detroit, which would be a move that wouldn't shock very many people.
