Oilers players states how the team is doing right now

The Edmonton Oilers are currently doing below what fans were expecting. Thought to be contenders, they are currently sitting 5th in the Pacific Division and are 24th in the League. A huge let down for the organization and the fans.

There is a lot of frustration with the team right now. With players becoming more and more frustrated as their playoff hopes dwindle in front of them, Oilers Alex Chiasson stepped up to say how the team is doing right now.
We're playing 17 playoff games, Chiasson stated about the Oilers final stretch before the season ends.
Even captain Connor McDavid had some things to say about how the organization is doing as of now.
Losing wears on you, you want to win games, McDavid told the Edmonton Sun. That's what wears on me. Ultimately, there's nothing I can do. You keep going on. Like everyone in the locker room, we're trying to put something together here and we've been building something over the last little while, while playing some good hockey.
The Edmonton Oilers are currently 6 points out a Wild Card spot, and don't have a game in hand over their opponents. Do you see the Oilers making the playoffs, or will they miss the playoffs?
