John Tortorella not happy with newly acquired defenceman

Columbus Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella isn't a fan of newly acquired defenceman Adam McQuaid whom the Blue Jackets gave up two draft picks to acquire his rights at the trade deadline.

McQuaid was acquired from the New York Rangers for Julius Bergman, a 4th-round pick and a 7th-round pick on Feb. 25th NHL trade deadline.

Since his arrival in Columbus, McQuaid has played 3 games and hasn't scored a point, and head coach Tortorella isn't a fan, not even close.
I got a decision to make regarding 6 defencemen that I believe are the best, Torts told the Columbus Dispatch. Right now, McQuaid isn't part of them . I worry about his speed, so we went with other guys.
Looks like McQuaid will have some hard work to do before he gets more chances with the team. He has been scratched since. GM Jarmo Kekalainen brought Matt Duchene, Ryan Dzingel and Adam McQuaid at the trade deadline for a big playoff push, but they have lost 3 of their last 4 games.
