Time For Change: Steven Stamkos chirps the NHL's current playoff format
Steven Stamkos doesn't think the current NHL playoff format is fair. Stamkos mentioned to the media Monday in Toronto, he thinks teams should be rewarded for a successful regular season with the advantage of playing lower seeded teams.
With the wild card spots and the current cross over, the first two rounds are filled with what can be almost the best vs best. Doesn't make a ton of sense. Hopefully, more stars speak up, so things can be changed ASAP.
