NHL Trade Rumor: Kris Letang to New York, Florida and Vancouver

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Pittsburgh Penguins are listening to offers concerning defenceman Kristopher Letang and the two front-runners are the New York Rangers, the Florida Panthers and Vancouver Canucks.

The Pittsburgh Penguins want to have a new look next season and are willing to trade some big contributors to their past Stanley Cups. The front-runners for Kris Letang are the New York Rangers, the Florida Panthers and the Vancouver Canucks.

Speculation is that Pittsburgh would accept a deal involving either Chris Tanev or Alex Edler if he would sigh with Pittsburgh automatically. For Florida, it was recently discovered that they are listening to offers concerning Aaron Ekblad and Pittsburgh would be interested. Nothing has been made aware of what New York would offer to acquire Letang's rights.

Letang has a modified NMC, but has a list of 18 teams he can be traded to. What are your thoughts on the proposed trades?
