Report: The NJ Devils are getting a ton of calls on the #1 pick

With the luck of Taylor Hall on their side, the New Jersey Devils won the lottery and a chance to draft USA centreman Jack Hughes. If they make the pick is still yet to be determined.
Hughes has been in video game cheat mode for most of this hockey season and recently showed at the Under-18 tournament that he is the real deal, shattering records along the way. The kid can flat out fly and his hockey instincts are off the charts.

As the Devils prepare to pick #1, teams have been kicking the tires to see if they would have any interest in moving the pick. So far out of the AP in New Jersey they've mentioned no team has even come close to a deal that may strike the interest of Devils' GM Ray Shero.

Every single team in the league could use a Jack Hughes. When you have a potential gamechanger coming into the league, general managers don't like to do anything drastic and just safely make the pick, can't blame them, but could names like Huberdeau or Point get the Devils attention?

That's probably a 'Drew Doughty'. Have you seen this kid play?
