The Vegas Golden Knights name Kelly McCrimmon General Manager

The Golden Knights have a new GM as the band is staying together. Kelly McCrimmon will be named the clubs new general manager, and it appears it will be effective September 1st.


George McPhee who was responsible for piecing together the unreal expansion team will stay on to oversee all hockey operations and rightfully so. The team is set up nicely with the salary cap and has compiled a reasonable amount of top prospects in a very short time period.

Kelly McCrimmon is one of the most respected names in hockey as his resume includes, player, coach, executive, owner and even bus driver. No word yet if McCrimmon will take over the twitter account, but with a resume like his, nothing is out of the question.
