Report: Patrick Marleau done in Toronto

We reported a few weeks ago that Marleau was done in Toronto, and now according to Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos, Patrick Marleau and the Toronto Maple Leafs are to part ways imminently. It is only a matter of time before he is traded.

It sounds like Marleau and the Leafs are set to part ways, Kypreos stated on Sportsnet. The family is going to move back to San Jose and Patrick Marleau made it clear to the Leafs that he would like to get closer to his family once again, which means moving to the West Coast area.

Kypreos added that the front-runners for Marleau are Arizona, Los Angeles and Colorado. He also added that due to Marleau's contract, the Leafs are in a position of weakness and to not expect a big return.
