NHL Trade Rumor: Erik Karlsson to the Vancouver Canucks

According to The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta, the Vancouver Canucks are amongst the front-runners in wanting to sign pending free agent Erik Karlsson.

Outside of trying to trade Loui Eriksson, they are going to be big game hunting for some defencemen, and I've got some word that they plan on knocking on Erik Karlsson's door, Pagnotta stated on NHL Network Radio.

The Vancouver Canucks were reportedly after P.K. Subban until general manager Jim Benning stated that he believes that Subban has an attitude problem.

Could we see Erik Karlsson in a Canucks jersey next season?
