Report: Three teams ready to offer sheet the Jets' Kyle Connor

As training camp has kicked off in the NHL, the number of restricted free agents unsigned is worrisome. It appears there could be action on one of them, as according to Sportsnet's Sean Reynolds, three teams have prepared an offer sheet for Kyle Connor.

Kyle Connor's camp has been asking for security, a.k.a term on the deal, so if an offer sheet is signed, expect it to be for 6-7 years. While the Jets have over $15.6 million in cap space, along with Kyle Connor, they of course, have Patrik Laine to figure out as well. Signing Connor to a heavy offer sheet could handcuff the Jets management team.

A team like the Anaheim Ducks is a team to keep an eye on, and the Montreal Canadiens who have made it clear they're not scared of presenting an offer.

Who signs first? Laine or Connor?
