Rumor: Shayne Gostisbehere demands trade from Philadelphia

After finding out he will be scratched for a third consecutive game, word from an executive connected to Philly's management team, is Shayne Gostisbehere has asked the team for a trade. With 3 years left on his deal that is paying him $4,500,000 per season, it won't be easy money to move.

Gostisbehere, 26,  currently sits with 6 points in 22 games, and is a minus 5, with 12 PIMs. Last season the offensive defenceman collected 37 points, and the year before the former 3rd round pick finished with 65 points.

Look for the Winnipeg Jets to be circling the Flyers if they decide it's time to move on, and all accounts point that it is. Two other teams would have interest in the offensive defenceman, and would be the Colorado Avalanche and New York Islanders.

Keep on eye on the 'Ghost' in Philly, as it appears Gostisbehere's time in the city of brotherly love has reached the finish line.
