Charlie Coyle and Chris Wagner Sign Multiyear Extensions with the Bruins

It's official Boston Bruins fans, the Bs have announced that they have signed both Charlie Coyle and Chris Wagner to multi-year contract extensions.


Coyle, who has been part of the Bruins since last season's trade deadline, signed a six-year extension locking him in until the 2025-26 season. The annual cap hit for Coyle's extension will equate to $5.25 million. Coyle proved himself in the postseason last year with the Bruins with nine goals and 16 assists in 24 games. This year the 27-year-old forward has five goals and nine assists in 24 games this season for the Boston Bruins.

Wagner, who signed with the Bruins before the 2018-19 season, signed a three-year extension which will run through the 2022-23 season and hit the Bruins annual cap for $1.35 million. Last season Wagner had 12 goals and seven assists in 76 games with the Bruins. So far this year the 28-year-old forward has one goal and four assists in 23 games.
