Report: Devils place P.K. Subban, and other veterans on the trade block

According to Sportsnet's Chris Johnston, the New Jersey Devils have placed star defenceman P.K. Subban and many other veterans on the trade block.

In Johnston's report, he believes that the Devils may have placed defenceman P.K. Subban, Wayne Simmonds, as well all know, Taylor Hall on the trade block. Johnston states that for Hall, it would take at least "four pieces" to acquire Hall from the Devils, and Colorado are the front-runners.

After signing to a one-year, $5 million contract in July, Simmonds has joined Hall and Subban on the trade block. He's not the 20 goal scorer he used to be, but many teams seemed to have been interested when he was an UFA.

Johnston added that the Devils would be willing to move Subban after less than a year with the franchise. He also believes that Shero would be willing to absorb some of Subban's $9M contract.

28-year old, Sami Vatanen has also been added, and according to Johnston, has the most trade value.

The price tag for most of these players are draft picks, prospects, and young NHL-Ready players. Devils GM Ray Shero wants to build around his young NHL studs like Jack Hughes, Nico Hischier and Will Butcher.

Would you be willing to give up what Shero is asking to acquire one of these veterans?
