Rumor: Peter Laviolette Is On The Way Out

Will there be a coaching change in Nashville? Despite a 6-3-1 record in their last 10 games, there has been much speculation on the future of the Predators' Head Coach, Peter Laviolette.

General Manager, David Poile, demonstrated his high expectations for the 2019-2020 season when he signed free agent, Matt Duchene, to 7 years on a deal worth $56 million. With the likes of Duchene, Josi, Ellis, Arvidsson, Johansen, Forsberg, Rinne, among many other experienced veterans, this Predators team is simply under performing. Laviolette will be one of several coaches who have been fired by their club since the beginning of the season. The Predators succumbed to the Penguins in last night's 5-2 contest. They face the Penguins again tonight in the second contest of a home-and-home matchup.

Could this be Laviolette's final game as the Predators' bench boss?
