BREAKING: Potential First Overall Pick Goes Down With Scary Injury


18 year old Canadian Forward Alexis Lafreniere was helped off the ice with an apparent leg injury in Canada's match against Russia in the 2020 World Junior Championship.
Lafreniere was carried off the ice putting no weight on his left leg after a collision with the Russian goalie early in the second period, possibly breaking his ankle.

The left-winger who plays who Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL has scored 70 points in just 32 games this season. He also has added 4 points for Team Canada so far in the World Junior Championships.
