Another Buffalo Sabre has demanded a trade from the team

Buffalo has never been a hot spot in the NHL, but this seems to be getting out of hand. Early on this season Rasmus Ristolainen preferred to be traded, later on it was Zach Bogosian who let his feelings be known he wanted out of Buffalo and now Evan Rodrigues has demanded a trade.

I just want to play hockey... I have all the confidence in my ability, I have all the confidence in my defensive ability, I have all the confidence in my speed and my skill to play with everyone in this league - ER
Last season, Rodrigues made huge strides and enjoyed a career season, becoming a versatile asset for the Sabres. This season under Sabres coach, Ralph Krueger has been a completely different story. ER has zero goals and just three assists in 24 games so far this season.

Early on this season Rodrigues kept being scratched and he didn't know why. And lately, he's been getting in the line up more, but playing under 10 minutes. The straw that broke the camel's back was recently, when the Sabres benched him for winger Dalton Smith, a tough guy, who ended up playing less than two minutes in his NHL debut.

Getting benched for a guy who only played 2 minutes in the game, would set anyone off. Rodrigues then went to management and made it known, he wants to be traded out of Buffalo.

Look for the Sabres to move Rodrigues for another up-and-coming forward who needs a change of scenery.
