Maple Leafs' Fans Have Prayers Answered

The Toronto Maple Leafs have now lost 3 of their last 4 games. They have 22 goals against during this time, which is a result of poor defence and goaltending. Although this may be the average 'mid-season slump' that every team will experience, GM Kyle Dubas has made a change to the line-up that may be shocking to all.

Rasmus Sandin has been recalled from the AHL and will be in the line-up against the New Jersey Devils. This is interesting as he is just 4 professional games played away from having the first year of his entry-level contract kick in. It is rumored that Sandin, who has scored 15 points in 21 career games (and 10 points in 7 games at the World Junior Tournament) will remain with the Maple Leafs for the duration of the season.

Does this move promote a defensive core or is the beginning of serious Tyson Barrie trade speculation?
