Maple Leafs Looking To Make Big Trade

There have been rumblings about players feeling disenfranchised as members of the Maple Leafs. Trade demands within the Leafs' organization are now public knowledge, but these players have little to no NHL experience. It has been reported that the Leafs want to use these players in a large deal.

Per Eliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the asking price for Jeremy Bracco is too high. The 22 year old prospect has had phenomenal production in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies. Yet, Bracco has been overshadowed by the big names on the Leafs' top 6 forwards.
"After reporting that Bracco is available, some teams believe the Maple Leafs are wanting to use Bracco as a piece in a bigger trade".
Friedman has also stated that the Leafs prefer to keep Kasperi Kapanen and Andreas Johnsson, but Dubas could be tempted if it were to improve their
defensive core.

There is reason to believe the New York Rangers are major frontrunners to land Bracco, but this has not yet been confirmed.

More to come.
