Team Canada Captain Suffers Horrendous Looking Injury
Will Barrett Hayton be available to play in the Gold Medal contest between Canada and Russia? Hayton has played a significant role for Canada, not only as their team captain, but as a consistent point producer. Was this an unfortunate hockey play or is Finland's Lassi Thomson responsible for this injury?
Hayton and Thomson were skating toward the puck when Thomson laid the body on Hayton, sending him into the boards. Hayton appears to have suffered a serious wrist injury, but nothing has been confirmed at this time.
