Rumor: Flames and Leafs discussing significant trade

According to Sportsnet's Eric Francis, the Flames and the Toronto Maple Leafs could be discussing a trade that would help both organizations immensely.

According to Francis, with the loss of Morgan Reilly and Jake Muzzin for some time, the organization has been looking for some help at the blueline. With that in mind, Francis thinks the Leafs have contacted the Flames regarding T.J Brodie and have offered a player of the likes of Kasperi Kapanen.
The 23-year old Finn checks all the boxes for the Flames, being a right-handed shooter with a reasonable cap hit of $3.2 million for the next two years that leaves him with RFA status at the end of it, Francis stated. At 6'1, 195 pounds, he also has decent size on a team that could use more of it.
After trading away veteran winger Michael Frolik to the Sabres, Calgary GM Brad Treliving hinted to wanting to use it at the trade deadline.

It is doubtful that it would be a 1-for-1 trade, and the Flames would have to send either a draft pick or a prospect to land Kapanen. This is however the second time Brodie has been linked to the Maple Leafs, but Nazem Kadri refused the deal.

What would you send to Toronto for Kapanen?
