BREAKING: Flyers' Gritty under investigation for punching a 13-year old

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia detectives are investigating a complaint made by a Flyers season-ticket holder who alleges that the mascot hit his 13-year son in the back.

Season-ticket holder Chris Greenwell alleges that Gritty acted in a violent manner after his son Brandon patted the mascot's head.
As Brandon walked away, Gritty got out of his chair, took a running start and punched my son as hard as he could, Greenwell stated Wednesday.
Greenwell told the Inquirer that he had to take his son to a chiropractor a week after the incident and his son was diagnosed with a back bruise.

The Flyers owner, Comcast Spectator, stated that there is an investigation has been conducted, but were unable to verify the complaint.
We took Mr. Greenwell's allegations seriously and conducted a thorough investigation that found nothing to support his claim, the Flyers released in a statement.
The Inquirer, the complaint was filed with the police on December 21st, 2019, after Greenwell and Comcast Spectator couldn't come to an agreement.
