2020 NHL Playoff Projections

There are roughly 25-30 games left in the regular season and the point race is beginning to heat up. Some teams have realized they will be deadline sellers and others are looking to acquire rentals to make a deep playoff run. Here is a list of each NHL teams’ likelihood of securing a playoff position and their projected point total.

There are a number of teams who have already been mathematically eliminated from the post season, while other teams will inevitably secure a spot. Others will have to drastically improve their play in the final quarter if they wish to play beyond the first week of April.
