Report: Ottawa done with Namestnikov; deal announcement coming soon

The Ottawa Senators continue to talk calls on just about everyone on their roster and the latest information out of Ottawa isn't surprising in the least.

Namestnikov is an UFA at season's end and holds a $3.25 million dollar cap hit for the rest of this season. The 27-year-old versatile forward has 25 points in 54 games since being acquired by the Rangers.

Look for Boston, Colorado, Columbus and Winnipeg to be in the mix on any deal, and as Dreger pointed out, won't be long until this asset is shipped out for the Senators.
