Brock Nelson Leaves The Ice A Bloody Mess

The New York Islanders are currently leading the New Jersey Devils 2-1. Moments ago, Brock Nelson left the ice in a bloody mess after an accidental and unassuming trip.

Brock Nelson was moving the puck along the boards and went right around Nathan Bastian of the Devils. Basian collided with his teammate Michael McLeod and simultaneously tripped up Nelson. Nelson fell forward and landed face first into the feet of P.K Subban. It appeared that he was cut by Subban's skate blade, but it has been confirmed that the bloody mess was caused by Subban's stick.
