Matthew Tkachuk Loses His Mind After Jake Muzzin Flicks Puck At Him After The Buzzer

The Toronto Maple Leafs downed the Calgary Flames 4-3 after Mitch Marner scored the game winning goal late in the third period. It was unclear whether the Maple Leafs would seek revenge on Matthew Tkachuk after he was accused of purposely landing on goaltender Jack Campbell in their previous matchup. Although he did not receive a Zack Kassian style beatdown, Jake Muzzin certainly managed to get under his skin.

As the horn sounded to conclude the game, Muzzin flicked the puck at Tkachuk. It appears unassuming, but it's hard to imagine that Muzzin didn't see the perfect opportunity to get a rise out of him. Tkachuk was visibly incensed and tried to go after Muzzin. He even managed to pull away from the referees and make a second run at him. Tkachuk went off the ice in a rage, slamming the boards and *almost* knocking the water bottles off the shelf (shown in second clip).

Nothing too significant resulted from the play, but we must remember they have 7 more matchups this season. Mark your calendars for February 22nd because Tkachuk will surely seek revenge for this blatant disrespect.
