John Tortorella & Max Domi Are Already Butting Heads

Max Domi was acquired from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Josh Anderson during the offseason. In fact, the two players were golfing together when they received the news. Domi left Montreal after having a rocky relationship with Coach Calude Julien and it now appears John Tortorella isn't thrilled with Domi at the moment.

Tortorella has witnessed a number of skilled players arrive and depart from the Columbus Blue Jackets. Their newest arrival, Max Domi, failed to register a point against the Nashville Predators in their season opener. He finished the game as a -1 and took a bad penalty after making an irresponsible decision. He spent a significant portion of the game sitting on the bench after this indiscretion.

Domi started on the second line but finished the game with 12:57 minutes of ice time, making him the third least utilized player on the roster. Domi will need to step it up before Tortorella takes his opinions public as he's known to do at team press conferences.
