Matt Tkachuk Was Pissed Off At Teammates After Loss To Toronto

Matt Tkachuk is a class A goal scorer and a class A s**t disturber. He went into a rage last week after Jake Muzzin flicked the puck at him after the final buzzer in the Calgary Flames' 4-3 defeat. He threw a fit on the bench because of what we assumed to be Muzzin's actions, but he was actually upset with his teammates.

Tkachuk was apparently enraged at the fact his teammates did not join the scrum with him and take retribution against Muzzin. According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the Flames held a players only meeting where he sent the message to his teammates.

When Matthew Tkachuk exploded at the end of last Tuesday's loss to Toronto, it wasn't about Jake Muzzin flipping the puck at him. If you dish it out, you've got to take it. I think he was upset that no one joined him in the scrum.

Calgary held a players-only meeting last Friday, and it sounds like he conveyed that message. It was received, although some comments were made to him that it can't be a riot every night. Get your feelings in the open, get it sorted out, and play. The results speak for themselves.

The Flames went on to win two consecutive games until the Winnipeg Jets ended their winning streak last night with a score of 4-3.
