Rumor: Taylor Hall to be Traded to the New York Islanders

According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the New York Islanders are a team to watch when it comes to a Taylor Hall trade before the April 12 trade deadline.

Friedman mentions the Islanders were one of the many teams who tried to fit in Hall last offseason once it was known he's welcome a one-year deal and it just never materialized as there were a lot of moving parts for Islanders management.

General manager Lou Lamoriello is a big fan of Hall's game and he's known as a GM who goes for it when he thinks his team is good enough. With captain Anders Lee out for the season after an ACL tear, Hall could be brought in using some LTIR money.

While he only has two goals in 28 games, Hall is capable of so much more. It's hard to take anything serious out of Buffalo this season.

One person who would be happy to see Hall traded to the Islanders.....
