The New York Islanders Expected To Lose Top-Six Winger

According to Ryan Kennedy of The Hockey News, Jordan Eberle is likely heading to Seattle. This is a good pick for the team, as it gives them a top-six right winger.

Eberle has spent the last four seasons with the Islanders after being traded there from the Edmonton Oilers. In 55 games this season, the 31-year-old forward scored 16 goals and registered 33 total points. He has three more years left on his contract, and it carries a $5.5 million cap hit.

Although a Josh Bailey pick would have been great, too, the Kraken are getting a true goal scorer with Eberle. If he continues to produce at his current pace, Seattle will certainly be ecstatic to have him. Eberle stands a real shot of being their first-line right winger next season and should work quite nicely on their power play, too.
