St. Louis Blues Star Winger Still Wants Trade

Although Vladimir Tarasenko willingly returned to the St. Louis Blues, he still wants to be traded by the team, according to Frank Seravalli. The 29-year-old requested a trade during the off-season and even was left unprotected at the Expansion Draft. However, the Kraken opted to take Vince Dunn from the Blues instead.

There's no denying that Tarasenko is a very good player, but he has had a lot of trouble staying healthy as of late. Over the last two seasons, he has limited to just 34 games. Last season was a hard one for him, too, as he had four goals and just 14 points in 24 games. That is low production for his standards.

Tarasenko could help raise his trade value if he remains healthy and finds his previous form. The Blues kick off their season against the Colorado Avalanche on October 16th. As the year progresses, St. Louis could elect to move him if they can receive a nice return. However, for now, Tarasenko will still honor his contract with the Blues/

Where do you see the veteran winger ending up? Will he even be traded during the season? Let us know in the comments!
