Chicago Blackhawks Place Forward On Waivers

The Chicago Blackhawks have placed forward Adam Gaudette on waivers.

Gaudette only has played in eight games with the Blackhawks this season. In them, he has a goal and an assist. He last played on November 9th, so it's clear that he did not have a permanent spot in the lineup before being put on waivers. Furthermore, the Blackhawks have been looking to trade, too.

Gaudette is a 25-year-old center who could interest a lot of teams looking for forward help. Keep in mind, during the 2019-20 season, he had 12 goals and 33 points in 59 games with the Vancouver Canucks. Thus, he has shown in the past that he has potential to be a solid point-producer in this league.

It would be surprising if Gaudette doesn't end up claimed by someone. He's a player who may rebound and only has a $997,500 cap hit. Why shouldn't another team take a chance on him, then?
