Upcoming Canadiens vs. Devils Game Postponed

The NHL has officially postponed January 15th's contest between the New Jersey Devils and Montreal Canadiens.

This isn't all that surprising, as there are currently attendance restrictions in Canada. By rescheduling this game, it will allow fans to actually attend it at a later date. At this juncture of time, the league has not announced a new date for this game.

Renaud Lavoie also noted that there is still optimism that Montreal's next home game on January 27th against the Anaheim Ducks will allow fans to attend. As we inch closer to that game, we will have to wait and see what occurs. There is a lot of time between then, however, as it is over three weeks away.

At this time, the Canadiens also have a whopping 20 players in COVID-19 protocol and are not scheduled to play again until January 12 against the Boston Bruins.
