Video: Avalanche's Landeskog Records Hat Trick

Gabriel Landeskog is continuing to have an excellent season for the Colorado Avalanche. In Thursday night's contest against the Winnipeg Jets, the 29-year-old winger recorded a hat trick and added an assist for good measure.

During the summer, there was some concern that Landeskog would test the open market. Yet, right before the start of free agency, he agreed to an eight-year, $56 million contract with the Avalanche. So far, he's living up to it immensely, as he now has 13 goals and 33 points in just 25 games this season. With that, he's currently on a 13-game point streak - where he's registered 19 total points.

With Landeskog's rise in production, it also isn't surprising to see that the Avalanche have been winning more games. With their 7-1 victory over the Jets, they now have a 20-8-2 record and are 8-1-1 over their last 10 games.

Nevertheless, what a solid performance from Landeskog!
