Canucks To Hire New Assistant General Manager

The Vancouver Canucks are expected to hire Hockey Hall-of-Famer Cammi Granato as assistant general manager.

Granato has been serving as a pro scout for the Seattle Kraken and just released a children's book titled I Can Play, Too, just a week ago. Now, she is continuing to build on her eventful year, as she will be having a very notable position with the Canucks.
Granato will be the third woman the Canucks have added to their front office this season alone. The Canucks just hired Emilie Castonguay to be an assistant general manager of their franchise and also Rachel Doerrie to join their team's analytics department.

Granato's career on the ice was nothing short of fantastic. She most notably went on to win a Gold Medal with Team USA at the 1998 Winter Olympics. Furthermore, she participated in several World Championships during her career, too.

Nevertheless, Granato will be building on her excellent hockey resume as an assistant GM of the Canucks.
