Coyotes Veteran Forward To Miss Time

Arizona Coyotes forward Andrew Ladd will be out for the next four to six weeks due to a lower-body injury.

Ladd left Sunday's contest against the Dallas Stars early after he collided with Luke Glendening. There was concern that he would have to miss time because of it, and now we have, unfortunately, gotten confirmation.

Ladd played just four games with the New York Islanders during the 2019-20 season and did not get any NHL action at all last year. Thus, it's been nice to see the 36-year-old get a chance to play again with the Arizona Coyotes. In 42 games thus far, he has six goals, three assists, and a minus-11 rating. Yet, now the alternate captain's campaign will have to be put on pause.

If Ladd recovers on schedule, he should be able to return before this season is over. Here's to hoping he is able to, as it's been fun to see the veteran play again.
