Bruins And Blues Complete Trade

The Boston Bruins have traded Brady Lyle to the St. Louis Blues for future considerations.

With today being the AHL's trade deadline, we should be in for other moves like this one. Lyle will now be playing for the Springfield Thunderbirds for the remainder of the season. Due to the fact that this move occurred after the NHL's deadline, he is ineligible to be called up for the remainder of the season.

It is also important to note that Lyle's contract does not expire until after next season, so he could end up seeing time with the NHL squad in 2022-23, however.

In 48 games this season with the Providence Bruins, Lyle has two goals and seven assists. Now, he will be aiming to carry over that kind of production to the Thunderbirds from here.
