Golden Knights Goalie Could Miss Rest Of Season

According to multiple sources, Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner could miss the rest of the season due a cracked knee cap.

At this juncture, the Golden Knights have not provided an expected recovery timeline for Lehner. Frank Seravalli also previously noted that the 30-year-old has been playing through a torn labrum, so he is dealing with numerous injury trouble.

If Lehner does in fact end up missing the remainder of the season, the Golden Knights will have a serious issue with their goaltending. Furthermore, with the trade deadline being less than a week away, they will have to decide whether or not they will be adding a new goalie to their roster. This is especially true with the team not having a cemented spot in the postseason.

In 38 appearances this season, Lehner has a 21-15-1 record, 2.77 GAA, and .909 SV%. We will have to wait and see if the veteran will have the chance to build on these numbers from here.
