Video: Nick Foligno and Sam Carrick Have a Rematch

The Anaheim Ducks hosted the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night, and the hometown Ducks were looking to avoid their 3rd straight loss after being outscored 8-1 in their last two games.  The last time these two teams played each other, Bruins forward Nick Foligno and Ducks center Sam Carrick dropped the gloves, with Carrick quickly getting the better of Foligno and stunning him with a punch before the officials quickly intervened.  Foligno and Carrick didn't waste any time finding each other Tuesday night as they squared up directly after a faceoff just minutes after the game got underway.

This time, it lasted a little longer and went much better for Foligno:

The Ducks got off to a great start on the scoreboard when Rickard Rackell scored a powerplay goal off of a Ryan Getzlaf rebound before Nick Foligno evened things up for the Bruins after he served his five minutes for the scrap with Carrick.  Isac Lundestrom put the Ducks back ahead 2-1 with just 2:07 left in the first period thanks largely to the forechecking of Jakob Silfverberg, who got an assist on the play, and Adam Henrique scored just over a minute later to give Anaheim a comfortable 3-1 lead heading into the intermission.

The Ducks went on to win the game 4-3, putting them back in the win column after back-to-back losses to the Kings and Islanders - snapping Boston's 5-game winning streak in the process.  The Bruins' next game is tomorrow night on the road against Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights, and the Ducks will play that same Vegas squad the following night at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
