Video: Oilers and Blackhawks Honor Duncan Keith in Return to Chicago

The Edmonton Oilers visited the Chicago Blackhawks, and the story of the night was the return of Blackhawks legend Duncan Keith to the windy city. Keith spent close to two decades in Chicago and is in his first season in Edmonton. The veteran opened up about his return and how he's happy with his decision to be closer to his family.

While Keith was able to spend some time with some old teammates like Patrick Kane and Alex DeBrincat when the Blackhawks were in Edmonton earlier in the season but returning to Chicago where he spent so much time was a whole new beast:

I spent a lot of time here. It’s nice to be back, but definitely a unique feeling.

Keith went on to open up about why a trade was made in the first place and confirmed it was strictly a family decision to be closer to his son Colton:

It's been nice. I've been able to see him more frequently. The visits, even just being able to get back home for little breaks here and there, so definitely the more frequent time spent with him has been nice, and it's been just basically everything that I had hoped (for).

With Keith making his triumphant return to Chicago, take a look at what the Oilers did for the Blackhawks' legend leading up to the game:
